Orange Sky Laundry (OSL) is Australia’s first mobile laundry service for the homeless.
We believe that every person we come into contact with; our homeless friends, our colleagues and the wider community; will feel more connected based on the interactions we have with them. The belief in a positive community impact of our service forms the foundation of our rapidly expanding volunteer network.

As Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager or Asset Manager you will be the main point of contact for anything related to Orange Sky in Your Area. You will make sure that the washes are happening, bubbles are blowing and volunteers are smiling!
The Service Manager will have an opportunity to:
Join the Orange Sky family and contribute to sharing the OSL message in Your Area
Take the lead in recognising, recruiting, inducting and supporting our highly motivated OSL volunteers
Show off your exceptional ‘time-juggling skills’ through successfully monitoring and maintaining your shift roster.
Meet awesome new people and work together with your Assistant Service Manager and Asset Manager to manage the local OSL operation.
Terms & conditions of engagement
This is a volunteer role. Applicants are asked to commit to an average of 30 minutes per day for a 12 month period. There is an expectation that the Service Manager will check OSL emails, facebook and team leader reports daily and provide responses as required. In addition the Service Manager needs to be available as the escalation point and backup for team leader issues, concerns and incidents.
